Privacy policy

This policy explains how Novus Pharma Distribution S.R.L. (“Novus Pharma”, “we”), with its registered seat in Tunari, Calea București 71A, House 3, Room 1, Ilfov County, Romania, and its office at 27–29 George Enescu St., 2nd floor, room 15, District 1, Bucharest, processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

What data we process

Through the contact form we collect: full name, email address, phone number (optional), the company you represent (optional) and the content of your message. In addition, the website uses a web analytics tool, described in the “Cookies and web analytics” section below.

Purposes and legal basis

We process the form data solely to answer the requests we receive and to prepare the quotations you ask for — based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in communicating with business partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Usage statistics are processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the banner shown on your first visit and withdrawable at any time.

Cookies and web analytics

Analytics cookies are only placed after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit; until then nothing is stored in your browser and no request is sent to Google. If you accept, the website uses Google Analytics 4, a web statistics service provided by Google: it places first-party cookies in your browser (_ga and _ga_<ID>, with a lifetime of up to 2 years) that hold a pseudonymous device identifier and show us, in aggregate form, which pages are visited, how long visits last, where traffic comes from and general technical data (device type, browser, country). IP addresses are processed by Google in anonymised form and are not stored by us.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, we do not build individual behavioural profiles and we do not link these statistics to your identity. You can change your mind at any time: the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer reopens the banner, and if you decline, the cookies already placed are deleted. You can also block or delete them from your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works in full without these cookies.

Separately from analytics, the contact form is protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile. When the form is displayed and submitted, Cloudflare Ireland Limited receives your IP address and a few technical signals about your browser, solely in order to tell a real person from a bot. This check is strictly necessary for the form to work (our legitimate interest in preventing abuse — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), does not track browsing behaviour and is not used for advertising purposes.

Retention

Messages received through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and afterwards for a maximum of 3 years, to support the business relationship if one develops. Analytics cookies expire no later than 2 years after the last visit, and aggregate reports are retained according to the retention settings of the Google Analytics account.

Recipients

Data is not sold and is not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be accessed by our technical providers (web hosting, email services) under GDPR-compliant processing agreements. For traffic statistics, usage data is processed by Google Ireland Limited as a processor, which may transfer data outside the European Economic Area on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). For any request regarding personal data, write to us at office@novuspharma.ro.
